0RPT-4W is an 8-way type RS-485 repeater installed in a RS-485 communication line that has the function to electrically separate and amplify signals and, at the one side of the signal, RS-485/232 communication can be used at the same time and the other side has a function to extend RS-485 signal to 8-Way.
0High reliability is guaranteed as propagation of noise between the communication lines is cut off by electrically separating the communication lines from each other, and star type wiring is possible in RS-485 as 8-Way is supported.

Functions and features

• As to the master port, RS-485 or RS-232 can be selectively used.
• Multiple branching is possible as 8-Way is supported. (Wiring method similar to star-topology is supported.)
• A DIP switch that can control the communication speeds of the master and slave respectively is embedded.
  The transmission and reception speeds can be differently selected.
